THE WATER KEEPS COMING! Greetings and Happy New Year WAN supporters. Here is some great news to start the second week of January! 2018 contributions now total more than $425,000 USD to fund clean water wells in Northern Ghana. Working with our local partners at CRS Ghana, we are projecting 47 wells in 2018.

With your support Water Access Now was able to implement 18 boreholes ($180,000) to provide safe drinking water to schools, health facilities, and communities in northern Ghana in 2017. We are excited to share the 2017 Annual Report: 'Improving Access to Water in Northern Ghana'. In 2017 Water Access Now "approved funding of $180,000 to CRS (Catholic Relief Services) to continue this work by completing 18 new boreholes to provide safe drinking water to schools, health facilities, and communities in CRS project areas in northern Ghana". This comprehensive report released by our partners at CRS Ghana highlights the entire borehole process from selection to borehole design, and even water quality assessments and contractor verification.

Thank you to all who attended our 2017 Water Access Now: Wine Into Water event. On October 14th, 2017 we had a record number of over 175 attendees at Matthews Winery in Woodinville, WA. The evening highlighted speakers sharing real and personal stories on the 2017 successes of implementing clean water in Ghana.
