I’m happy to share with you the WAN 2020 Progress Report. Although there have been a few delays due to govt. restrictions on movement, group gatherings, etc. with the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been able to still make great strides in community assessments/site selection, signing of contracts with drilling contractors/consultants, formation and training of 22 out of 30 Water and Sanitation Management Teams (WSMTs) and partnership engagements with SAHA Global. With the recent easing of restrictions, we’ve started to double-down on activities in order to catch up with lost time and are confident we’ll deliver as expected by April 2021.

Leavenworth Tasting Room: A New Way to Donate
Our partners Water From Wine have a fabulous tasting room in Leavenworth at the Wine Cellar (217 9th Street, Leavenworth, Washington 98826). It is worth the trip to Leavenworth, or a stop next time your are passing through. Water Access Now (WAN) board members Jan Kline and Chris Norwood visited the tasting room this weekend, as the Water From Wine tasting room is featuring WAN the month of July. The comfortable tasting room which opened in June 2018 features a stylish bar area, and several couch seating areas to enjoy the award-winning wine. Tastings cost $12 a person and allows you to sample several Washington cabernet sauvignons, a sauvignon blanc, and a new rose. Tasting fees are covered should you spend $30 or more on a bottle. Best of all the money spent on bottles goes directly to funding clean water projects like Water Access Now. Check out our new label for the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, and the weekly and monthly events coming up!
